    Hi there,

After spending some time in the UAE, I have become a convert to Helluwa/ waxing for the removal of hair down there.

Ireland, I got it done once with the strip and I actually bled and went red raw. My skin is very very sensitive. I only got the bikini line done (not everything).

In UAE I found the arabic way excellent and far less painful. I got absolutley everything waxed off. This was done in a not so professional salon by a phillipino beautician. Yet it was the best waxing experience, I ever had.
They get every SINGLE hair and no bleeding or redness, even in the most incredibly sensitive areas.
You ll never be shy around a doctor or anyone afterwards:D This type of salon is very common in the emirates as married Muslim women have to remove all body hair.

There is a big pot of wax (made from beeswax and sugar, no chemicals) the lady puts talc on her hands and works removing the hair with a ball of wax. the talc really helps as well.

It hurt a bit but nothing compared how painful I found the strips that were done in a professional posh salon in Ireland.

Does anyone know where I d find somewhere like this in Ireland?

I would imagine there would be a need for Helluwa with the increasing amount of Muslim women who have arrived here. Unless they do it at home.
I know some salons in dublin have taken to the arabic/indian art of threading to remove facial hair. I swear by that as well.:)
