thread/spider veins

not really sure what, if any, difference there is spider and thread veins but anyway!
basically im going to thailand in just over 2 months time, and im gonna have to wear a bikini at some stage. the only problem i have with this is the thread veins i have on my legs! they aren't too dark or noticeable (i don't think), but i've become a bit paranoid about them anyway. i have them on my calves and thighs, and even a few on my shoulders.they seem to be wherever pressure would be applied, so on my legs from crossing them, and shoulders from heavy backpacks.
so just wondering if anyone has any positive experiences with any creams or gels that i could use to fade them before i go? or any supplements or anything i could take?
    any advice appreciated!

ooh going to watch this thread (.. sorry couldn't help the pun!) with interest as I am also riddled with them on my legs from sports when I was younger and getting bruised to bits...

A friend of mine had the laser treatment done at a local beauty salon and highly recommends it... although it takes a few treatments and can be a bit pricey..

yeah i cant really afford the laser treatment right now because i need money for going away! i had hoped to find a cream that would just help reduce the colour of them a bit!

I have some tiny thin ones on my right cheek. My whole mother's side of the family are riddled with them so I'll be getting that laser craic the minute they get worse. At the moment it's hardly identifiable as broken veins.
