I heard a rumour this morning that a very large car dealer in Dublin is going to shut down.

Now normally I would ignore rumours like this, but later in the day I heard it from another unconnected source. Has anyone else heard the rumour, and is there any substance to it?

What good is a rumour with no names, give us names!

Am I allowed to put up the name? I don't want anyone to be sued!

Tell us where in Dublin, down to street level if possible.

Yeah, instead of putting the dealer name up, give details that give an indication of where it is.

    Let's rather not do that.

Getting the roumor mill going on the wrong dealership could have bad consequences.

    Facts only please !

EDIT: Also, the rumour could be malicious.

So ...until there are hard facts, this thread wil be closed.

did we not hear a BMW dealer in Blackrock was closing a few weeks back - seemed to be in full swing when I was outside it on Sunday.

Rumors are just that I reckon - nothing more
