I lost my camera on Saturday night in Dalkey. I either lost it in The Queens pub or in the taxi on the way home, which was driven by a man named Joe. It is a Canon Power Shot SD 870 IS. It was a wedding gift so has sentimental value. Please if you have found it could you contact me. I am even willing to swap for another digital camera. My number is -snip-. Thanks

    Hope you get it back.

Why don't you call the taxi company with whom you booked the cab and ask them ?

Or ask the place where he dropped you may be he left it there ?

Did a google search and i believe its the following model.

OP, it's not advised you post your number on a public forum. I've removed it, if anyon comes across anything they can send you a private message.

    Best of luck.

Did you get a reciept from the taxi man? His cab number will be on that and you could contact him through the carrage office.

    Might be of some help.

    Dave.

Thanks for taking out my number.
I rang loads of taxi companies, no luck. They gave me a number where all taxis and hacknies return lost property, but they don't have it either. I went into the pub. They did have a camera but it wasn't mine. I rang the local Garda station and they didn't have anything turned in. I also sent a couple of texts to radio stations but haven't heard anything back from them. The picture is the same as my camera except the bit around the lens is silver. It still has the stickers on it too!! I really hope I get it back.
    Thanks
