    Hi guys.

I have just started lifting weights. But I am worried that I am not doing it right. As in taking the right steps, I am good at lifting etc... But I think I am after missing out on some core steps.

Can anyone point out, any stuff for a starter? My body type is the fast metabolism. So everything I have to do, is going to have too be done right.

Also, unsure as too how many meals a day, I heard 6?? And which type of meals, so far, I can get 3-4 meals in. Most meals would be high in carbs.

And also some good diagrams of what too do. I have a friend who is into this stuff, but I don't want to ask, because he is a bit of a lunatic when it comes to weight lifting..

    Thanks!

    Buy this book

    Read it

Go onto this forum. You can then ask questions of the author.

Quite rushed this morning but if you've other questions I'll make it back on later. Also, other people will have advice for you.

    www.exrx.net

what is your age, height & weight, and what is your daily calorie intake?

Most people I know with "fast/slow metabolisms" simply eat too little/much
