Akin to the infamous Grimms Brothers Tale of Stone Soup, all you need is a few small extras to make Baking Powder realise it's full potential.

Team it with flour, butter and sugar to make these. ;) But that probably belongs in a different thread...

I thought it was ground up Skittles that you use for all of that?

/stick that on your teeth and suck it

Yes I think you mean baking soda, or 'bicarbonate of soda' stuff...

I don't know about the other stuff but it's great as a tooth whitener!
    Tastes absolutely rank though :p

Yes it's definitely bread soda (bicarbonate of soda) you're talking about.
It's great for cleaning the burnt gunk off roasting tins and pots etc - I make a paste of it with water, add some Fairy liquid and smear it on then leave it for a while. It saves a lot of scrubbing.

Bread Soda is used for cleaning vomit out of carpets or a material that it could soak into as it neutalises the smell.

hello there i've discovered a use for baking soda after several years of excruciating pain that it cures gout .
also it will help dissolve kidney stones .
i do take a spoon full every day , its hard to do in the begining but i got used to it . i'm now pain free an i havent been with a doctor for months
it used to cost me a hundred euro or more every month now it only costs me a couple a euro :)
