Manchester United online store...price discrepency

    Said to myself I'd go a bit mad...

    I decided to purchase a large Man United Away shirt with "Anderson 8" and Premiership Winners badges from the Manchester United Online store. After heading to checkout, I was told that the price was 48.46 STG (ex vat and shipping). However, when I converted the total using the sites euro converter, it gives me a total (ex vat and shipping) of 75 euro!!!

    The exchange rate at the moment is 1 STG=1.25865 euro, but the site seems to be charging over 1.54 euro for 1 STG.

    Given the fact that vat and shipping are not factored into these totals, how is there such a discrepancy between the prices?

    I wrote them a letter anyways!

    Pay in sterling instead. Take whatever the exchange rate your credit card company offer you........
