Anyone else see this today on the News Of The World? (*spit*)
The drug dealer shot dead in Finglas yesterday was shot by a cyclist.

Maybe was one of the tour boys in retaliation for the EPO being detected :D

Otherwise I'm not sure what to make of this post..... besides the fact that the shooter knew the fastest way through traffic was on a bike.

    'Shot dead by a cyclist'?

Well, I guess that narrows down the list of suspects...

"The suspect is hatless. Repeat, hatless."

I suspect this article is going to act a hub for anti-cyclist hate. I predict it being wheeled out regularly unless we attempt to fix the situation by putting the brakes on it. It's a bit unfortunate that we will all be saddled as hoods due to the actions of a single cyclist, but if we all step it up a gear, we can shift public perception.

Spot on, otherwise all our good work will be de-railleured. All it takes is one bad link in the chain for everything to unravel.

We'll need someone with a good headset on 'em, someone that can thread their way through the world of tabloid journalism. Someone that can grease the wheels and pump people for information.

I remember a news story in the UK (i think) years ago about a kid being shot in his back yard by another kid on a bike who peddled off.

The level of violent crime on our streets is inexorably linked to different forms of cycological breakdown. If ones self esteem is punctured, or merely deflated, due to the constant pressure we all face, then these sort of attacks are bound to occur.

Drafting young offenders into the army might be a good way for them to drop the bad behaviour. But in some echelons of society, it is sadly inevitable.
