I think that the "nice price" jaffa cakes that you get in super valu taste better than the original ones...and they are half the price.

Mcvitie's jaffa cakes are horrible, the sponge is rock hard, I had to check the date on a packet i had a couple of weeks ago, thought they wee stale. Jacobs are way nicer, can't comment on the others.

Don't like jaffa cakes, but this may make me reconsider...

We did a Jaffa Cake taste test in work a few weeks back....

    Yeah we were bored.

Anyways, the winner was some Polish Jaffa Cake - no idea what the exact name is, but we picked it up in the Polski section of Tescos. Will check out the exact name on Monday.

Tesco Value one's weren't bad. Burton's one sucked BIG TIME.

the aldi ones are the nicest, after a while eating them you notice how thick the orange is on the mc.vitties ones..which i dont like!!!

3 Months later and 500 Jaffa cakes tested. I reckon the Jacobs ones are the nicest. The cake part is nice and soft unlike McVitties which can be a bit hard.

Back in 6 months, off to test some Garibaldi biscuits.

These are called Delicje and you get them in Tescos or Polish speciality shops. They come in orange peach cherry raspberry and also have some mousse instead of jelly variations like toffee or caramel, these I don't like. Very cheap but quality.
