best place in waterford to watch matches

    where would be the best place in waterford city to watch football matches, I heard jack meades is good any others, I suppose it will be hard to find a place to watch the manutd preseason friendly today?

    Alfies is a sports bar theres three of them in the town IIRC -
    One in Ballybricken
    One Behind the Tower Hotel
    Cant remember where the last is/was ?

    Jack Meades is actually out of the city a reasonable bit

    Yeah, it's been closed for 3 years! The Tower Hotel bought it, along with all the other buildings in that complex with the plans of redeveloping it but given the way the industry is going, it looks unlikely.

    seen as its a sports bar its your best bet but masons is were the manu supporters club gather

    walsh park is pretty good for matches, as is the rsc. not sure about utd preseason friendlies though
