    I've been toying with the idea of getting a whole hog or small pig to perhaps pit roast, or pit roast some of it and butcher the rest myself for freezing.

    im interested in cutting it up myself so id have to get it whole, rather than already cut up.

    does anyone have any ideas where i could get my hands on a full, small, pig or hog. i know butchers is the obvious answer but i was hoping there might be somewhere online i could have a look at prices etc.

    im in the south east so as close to there as possible.

    does anyone have any experience of sourcing/cooking whole animals?
