what kinda of turn out do ye expect, i know the eglinton are doing similar tournies, the 15k starting stack is very appealing

We're hoping for at least 30- 40 players, i like the 15k also, if you take a big hit early in the game you still have a nice enough stack left to try and recover.
We're already having lots of interest in the €10k Guaranteed, our weekly €3k guaranteed is ticking along nicely with an average of 30 players each week.

Think im gonna chose this over the eglinton as there is no reg fee and im loving the 15k stacks

The €100 freezeout blinds are similar to the ones above in my last post minus the 150-300 blind. It's been so busy lately, i worked 13 1/2 hours yesterday, cash game went on till 8.30am. On Staurday it went on till 10am Sunday morning! Thats what it's gonna be like for the next 2 weeks

Any sats into the main tourney or even the tour on the 2nd?Something I would be intrested in!Whats the situation with beer?Are you expecting many for thursaday,its late racing and ladies day so might be a small field?

Vinny is now assistant manager in the club! So when it come to getting value from a tourney i always consult him about blinds and stuff.
He still plays cash on his nights off and yes they are still mental games but are really enjoyable to deal!

When it comes to profits well Jackie (who bought Mike out) is really aiming at customer satisfaction. Anyone who has been down lately to the club can see the change in the place. Hopefully the restaurant in the back will be up and running soon, i'm so sick and tired of dust all over the place
Anyone who hasn't been down for ages should come down even for a 'ol look, i've never seen Mike Murray so relaxed, he's even stopped shouting at people :eek:

wow. sounds really good. and ive heard many glowing reports about the place even up here in letterkenny. unfortunately its too far for a casual visit. but I will defo have to come take a look at the place before i take off.

And chopper, maybe we should all organise a night to head down there, as many of the old regulars as we can..would be class

what time do you expect cash games to begin at every night? will it only be NL hold em 1-3 blinds or 2-5 or what? any chance there will be pot limit games?

anyone know if the eglinton cash games are 1-2 still for their festival or 2-5?

If people want pot limit games it can be arranged as long as we have enough players who want it!
Cash games normally kick off around 11.30pm but they can start as early as 10 during race week, last year we had anything between 7-8 cash games with 1-3,2-5 and 5-10 blinds. Rake is 3% capped at €20!
Race week is mental anyway so we might as well go a bit mental with it!! €50 re buy should be good craic.

i was there last night. 3 tables - think 22 players. when i was leaving the place was full - cash games and house games thronged. tournament was alright. good craic. standard was average imo. alot of poor play but was tourney ud expect during race week. nice prize pool too.

24 tonight for freezeout, same as last night. Cash games are just about to start, Omaha and Texas! I was here till 8.30am dealin the 2-5 game, brilliant craic.
