Delivery time Uk to Ireland?

    I payed for a item yesterday over the phone at approx 4.15/30pm,its in the UK and they said it would be shipped by UPS,will i get it today?? (friday).Don't want to be hanging around waiting if it won't be delievered today,thanks :)

    They told me friday but it seemed a bit late in the evening to get here today?
