Just swopped a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard (ebony) for a almost new Musin Man Axis. Not a bad deal for me, i am thinking.

That guitar can't be any good. It only has one knob :p

Great swap Darren! I think you got the better end of the bargain ;)

Me thinks too. I already have a '93 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Cherryburst (i think) that i won't be selling ever, as it was my first expensive guitar i ever bought. She needs a total refret though.

They guy swopping me has a Music Man already. He purchased this from Dolphinmusic 2 weeks before this.

One knob is enough.....volume.....does anyone use the tone knobs at all.

congrats on the guitar my friend.i too sold my les paul last week&got €1300 for it even though i wanted more for it as it was in perfect condition.
the guy you swapped the axis for the LP was offering me the same deal but i passed on it because i needed the cash.
i play EBMM guitars exclusively now all the time as there quality is fantastic.
i was over at the London guitar show last month and i played alot of musicman guitars&they were all beautiful guitars to play.

Does the Pertucci sig model have the same neck.......i know it's rosewood, but is the action as low and smooth as the Axis.....

How could you pass on that......for cash of all things!!!:)

Not a floating trem, but is a locking trem....meaning that is only dives.....not upwards......
