you can delete this if you like, it's maybe the wrong forum , folklore? We were discussing last weeked over a few beers the banshee and other irish mytical ghosts/spirits, when I remembered one Dublin one called the Billywick. I can't find anything about it , but I remember stories when I was a kid of the Billywick, and of you guys hear of him ? I think he was some kind of glimmerman thing........anyway I thought I'd try here...

Well well well.. look what the cat dragged in here :D
Methinks the mushroom concoction you were drinking has brought about many hallucinations.

Not often they find the mystic gateway between the poker forum and the paranormal forum!

On topic.. never heard of the Billywick sorry. Some of the others may be able to help you though Willie.

Hope you are enjoying your time in the well ;)

Hey thanks for the replies, We used to hear this a lot growing up. I'm suprised it is a Yankee thing as I was sure it was a Dublin one from around the time of the street oil lamps......At least I know I'm not going mad and it does exist....now wherever did my ol man get that one from..

    cheers Paras.
