Its nearly eighteen years since we flung insults at each other, on a cool September morning. The autumn was in full bloom, people were wearing "beetle crushers" and listening to nirvana. "give me an ace mac?" i asked. I had a reputation back then, to some i was gifted to others a a55hole. "No!" came the curt unexpected reply. I was his senior. Then came a barrage of brutal namecalling. Nothing was sacred, your tiniest frailty exposed, blown open never to be taken back, like a wimbledon rally the filth flew to and fro. Nearly eighteen years ago and i remember it still. vividly. Today we are best friends.Bloody amazing.
