    Hi,

Is it possible to get bowling lessons anywhere - preferably around the Dublin area? Looking to bowl the ball with a bit of curve.....

Yup, you can get coaching in most of the bowling centres in Dublin :) Just ask at the reception and if the staff can't tell you ask for the manager.

Coaching usually begins with the very basics. How to hold the ball properly, the 4-step approach (I believe some people teach the 5-step approach), how to read a lane, etc.

It is worth it but the coach will usually insist on teaching you how to bowl straight first and then introduce hooking (curve) the ball later.
