I was just wondering if anyone knew somewhere good in the city centre to get highlights done? I don't want to spend a fortune but at the same time I don't want them to look cheap and obvious. Any recommendations?

I go to Junaberry on the quays ... just past the hapenny bridge. The girl I see is called Gillian and shes really good. I have blonnd in my hair but they way she does the highlights makes them look really natural.

I have a Price list here somewhere but cant find it at the mo. Think it was €130 for cut and half head highlights... long hair??

    Cool thanks.

One question - I noticed on the DIY L'Oreal highlight kits it says 'do not use if you've ever had a black henna tattoo as you are likely allergic to this product' - does this apply to the meche highlights in the salon? I got a black henna tattoo when I was younger, is it going to haunt me forever now?

Also, what's the difference between T bar, half head and full head?

I have never heard of henna tattoos interfering with hair colouring

Ok the difference between T bar, half head and a full head is the amount of highlights you want to get. T bar is about a quarter head of highlights, and as for a half a head of highlights and a full head of highlights more less do as they say on the tin. If you're getting highlights for the first time it may be an idea to get a T bar or a half a head of highlights depending on the thickness of your hair to start off with so its more natural.
