I hope this is the right place for this, apologies if it isn't.

Just after a season of rowing (first year) and my knees are a bit sore. They were getting bad enough the last 2 weeks before the end. Been resting them now and hopefully it's nothing serious but i would like to get them check out. Should i just go to a doctor or woul di be better off heading to a physio or something? Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    No idea on rowing.

I used to get sore knees from long distance cycling and when I first started squatting (badly). Once I sorted out my squat form and grew some hamstrings the knees have been fine since.

Have you been icing them and such? I get sore knees from running, and frequent icing + a couple of days of rest do wonders for me.

I hurt my knee a few months back during a spinning class. Thought it wasn't too bad till I started running two days later, and it swelled up.

So, I got knee support, and swapped spinning & running for the cross-trainer, and also used ice in the evening, and voltrol rub morning and night.

After about 4 weeks, I was back spinning & running. Months later, I haven't had any reoccurance of the injury (TG).
