    Hi Guys,

Heading to Bratislava and was thinking of crossing over into Poland. Any suggestions on places that'd be nice to visit?

    Have about a week.

    Thanks,

    A.B.

Yeah Krakow is somewhere I really want to go too and would like to see the mines and Auschwitz. Is there anywhere say between Bratislava and Krakow of particular interest or should I just make my way straight there?
Time is limited enough I suppose...

    Thanks. :)

Make your way straight there really, theres some nice places but you can spend long time in Krakow. Don't spend too much time in Bratislava, maybe pop to Vienna for a day but not much in the city

I've never been, but my uncle always goes to Zacupane, South Poland I will be going next year, and it's popular with Polish domestic tourists.
    It's a mountain resort, that's real beautiful, I believe.

kosice seemed like a nice city if your travelling that way, not sure how much there is to do there though.
Banska Stiavnica in slovakia is nice in terms of seeing all the old buildings in a nice small town.

    +1 Zakopane
expect crowds though, met some other Irish people there who waited most of a day to go on some ski-lift thing.

Yeah, lots of hotels, campings etc.. But in my opinion summer house is best choice because of the great atmosphere and local style of furniture.
