Fabric paint / House paint

    Hey,

    I'm painting a men's black suit with thick white strips for a fancy dress party.

    Is fabric paint expensive? I don't want to pay llots for a costume that will never be worn again. I'll need quite a bit.

    What would ordinary white paint (for walls, etc...) look like painted on the suit?
    Now its not a neat job or anything, if anything it will look better the messier it is!

    :confused::confused::confused:

    Suggestions please...

    Thanks

    you can use normal acrylic paint on fabric- it doesnt have to be special fabric paint, but you will need to mix it with a fabric medium from an art shop. this makes the paint workable on fabric, it would be pretty hard to paint stripes without it.
