Are their own brand any good? They're so much cheaper than others out there...

Nobody knows? I've even included a linky this time for ease of use...

Personally, I'd always buy recognised quality filters. In many cases, you get what you pay for. Nothing worse than putting a cheap/poor quality filter in front of quality glass. It can be like looking through a dirty window.

I always buy Hoya Pro 1 filters or Cokin P filters.

I got 2 filters from them and both were ok. Red for b/w and a circ pol.

I reckon if you are just going for standard UV plain glass filters then its perfect.. Got two 77mm last week and are spot on.. Its better than scratching the front of your lens and you can always get better ones when funds allow..

I just purchased Cokin Z pro kit ND grad U960 for approx 142 euros including shipping from www.speedgraphic.co.uk. I believe this is the cheapest around.

I was thinking of maybe getting a circular polarizing filter and a ND grad filter, anyone bought these from 7dayshop? and if so, how are they?

Also, what kind of ND grad filter should i get? ND2, ND4 etc?
