Myself and my wonderful girlfriend have been together for over 8 years now, and at the wise old age of 27 (28 in a few months) i think its the right time to ask her to marry me.

Now i know what the answer will be, but id love for it to be a little special and nice surprise.

I think we will goto antwerp for a ring together, i have an idea of what she would like but would prefer to pick it together, so ive already decided ill surprise her with tickets and a nice hotel, but id like to propose the day before maybe.

Have been racking my brains trying to think of something simple but nice. Front runner at the moment is a private hot air balloon ride. Would love some other suggestions tho :)

    Hi Cyrus,

I think that's a lovely idea! It's such a momentus occasion that it needs to be just the two of you.

Best of luck and enjoy as it'll be one of the most outstanding occasions of both yer lives. ;)

Oh hot air balloon rides are lovely, thumbs up to that :) Only problem is that you'll have the guy flying it about 30 centimetres from you :D Maybe go for a moonlight stroll along the river or such? or picnic in a park in Antwerp?
