Finally saw this fine Troma feature last night and despite a shaky start definitely wasn't disappointed. It's a sort of gross out/musical feature hybrid for the first while, a combination that definitely does not work unfortunately, but it soon settles down into familiar Troma territory..... a horrifically disgusting gore-fest that redeems any gripes I had with the movie up until that point.

    Highly recommended!

    Looks absolutely disgusting! lol.

You say musical? I take it there's singing in it and the like? I bloody despise musicals but love gore flicks...

The first half of the movie is a combination of good and bad in equal measure, and the singing is restricted to that first half, thankfully as it's terrible. But the last 20-25 minutes are stomach churningly brilliant. Some of the gore scenes rank amongst the sickest and most depraved I've ever seen, particularly
someones face in a meat slicer. You can see a second of that scene in the trailer.

Toxic Avenger IV previously held the 'sick in the head' crown for me but Poultrygeist is a worthy contender to that spot!

Oh, and - the ending to Poultrygeist is absolutely hilarious and anyone who's seen
    TA IV
    will recognize it straight away.

    Really?
I love Citizen Toxie and it would rank very highly in my bad taste/anti political correctness list so I may have to dig this up.Ive heard mixed things from people on a horror movie forum I post on but that trailer does look tasty.
