Does anyone know where in Kildare (close to Kildare Town) can I dispose old batteries? I have good few of them and don't want to bin them.

    Thanks

I think (if you can hold onto them long enough) you can get rid of them in Naas, in the Co. Co. building there are a couple of bins just for the dead batteries.

If you can make it to the recycling centre in Kilcullen (Silliot Hill, on the Naas road), batteries can be disposed of there. If you have kids/neighbours going to school, most schools have boxes for small household batteries (on holidays right now of course).

Check out the KCC website for full details.
