Only 2 days a week - look for more?

Hey guys, in need of a little advice please.

I'm currently working part-time for the summer and getting 2 days per week. The pay isn't bad, but on 2 days it's just not enough to cover everything.

So, I'm looking for extra work. Theres some places I could apply but what I want to know is, if I do should I leave the current place as a reference? Also, how should I bring up the whole rostering aspect of things - currently I get a roster on a Wed/Thurs starting the following Sunday. It's messy, at best, to try and fit two rosters together on that notice.

I could always go back to my old employer as a last resort, I think he'd have me...but it's something I really don't want to do as I'm not on fantastic terms with him.

So, am I fúcked or any advice?

    Cheers
