    Hi guys,
just 2 quick issues if anyone can help.

we moved in to a new home a couple of years back and got the alarm code from the previous owner, but she didnt know the code to set the alarm while your in the house, say at night for example so its set but you can still move around in the house without it triggering the alarm. Is there a default code for this or anyway of finding out without having to call out an engineer?

second issue is that the alarm keeps making a 'cherping' noise. Its proberbly in need of a new battery or someting, but likewise has anyone got any ideas about stoping the 'chirping' moise without the bother of an engineer coming out.

    Thanks in advance

Depending on the model you can part set the alarm by pressing 0#7 or 0"down arrow"7.
The chirping could be the smoke alarm and not your intruder alarm. Is there a message coming up on the keypad

For setting my alarm while inside I press #8 which alarms all downstairs windows and doors no motion sensors

If it's coming from outside then it sounds like the bell is faulty or the tamper spring is loose
