Back in 1987 my parents bought me a zx spectrum +2.
I gave it away about 13 years ago to my cousin but have since
re-aquired it with the power and tv connector missing. I have no
idea whether it still works or not. It has alot of software titles
    with it (original box's)

Are these machines worth anything today? I dont know whether to keep it
and rig it up or see if it's worth anything to anyone else?

    Cheers

I'd say the best thing to do is have a search on ebay. That'll tell you how much they're worth.

If you have a quick squint on eBay ... you won't be retiring on the proceeds.

There's a lot of them floating about, so not much rarity value ... and if it's missing parts you may not get that much interest.

Depending on condition and rarity, the software might be of some value to hobbyists, especially if it's boxed.

Get a full list of the software, take some good close up pics, and see what interest you get.

    Good luck.
