Lanzarote is fairly laid back.

Do the island tour and go see the Timanfaya National Park.

There are a few threads on Lanzarote already, use the "search this forum" button on the top right of this forum.

There are loads of Irish pubs all over the place, you'll have no worries catching any GAA game.
