I would second sports tracks, it is free, updated often and links up with google earth. Has a handy equipment tracker that lets you know how many kms you have put on your shoes.

Runner's World also have sets of garmin training plans for marathons and halfs, just select your plan (train either HR or pace) download on to your pc, up upload to your 305. With a bit of pratice you will get the hang of it. Allows you just get on with running.

    Hi,

I use the motionbased free subscription stuff and find its fine for what I need it to do. I've never been tempted to go the subscription route.

    Regards,

    Mick
