Hi! I'm going to Dublin this week and I would like to buy pink hair dye. Can anybody tell me where to look and what is the name of the hair dye? Thank you!

Well I haven't been in either shops in years but try Asha on top floor of St. Stephen's Green shopping centre or Ad Hoc in Temple Bar (across from Eamon Dorans).

I think its called Terry sales on abbey street (near supermacs)

They stock them and would have a good range. They supplu hairdressers but any joe soap can go in and buy from them

Sorry not 100% sure of the name of the hair dye - think its called creative colour?

in terry sales you csn get the crazy colours and the jeans colours.
id go for the jeans colours comes in a squezzy bottle like liquid hand soap and you dont need to use much of it at a time.

You can get Stargazer hair dye in Magenta, Shocking Pink and Baby Pink in Metalmorphosis, Temple Bar. It's temporary though..

La Meche directions you can get in Asha, I dyed my hair pink last week, I used Cerise, it came out pretty well.

alot of these colors wouldnt be permanent, and require topping up. My mate has electric blue steaks in her hair and she has to top them up every so often because the colour fades every time she washes it

OP make sure that the area where your dying is a light colour otherwise it wont take very well... dependong on how vibrant you want the colour to be of course :)

Go with this one ^^ I've tried both and recommend both :)

Stargazer and Directions dyes are woeful!

This is true - pink really only shows up well in blonde hair so if yours is darker you'd need to bleach it first.

    Thanks guys!

Didn't manage to get to Dublin yet. I have tried the crazy colours and stargazer, sick of doing it every week/2 weeks. Going to look out for the jeans colours. Has anybody heard of "Special Effects" hair dye, seemingly they are really good as well. Going to order that soon.

I used to use pinkissimo from the crazy colour range, and it does fade pretty fast, I didn't mind the fade so much it was just the way it bled into the rest of my hair that drove me mad, and washing my hair in sections drove me mad.

I don't think there is a permanent pink colour you can buy, I think if you use any kind of rainbow colour it fades with washing.

I looooove Special Effects dye's. Atomic Pink is the best - totally impossible to get out of your hair! http://www.beeunique.co.uk . I've ordered from these guys loads, and I'm currently waiting on my shipment of colourful awesomeness!!

Thanks! I'm going to order from that website too. I've been in touch with them to find if there were stockists here in Ireland. Great customer service and the funny thing is, they are based in my home town! Spooky ;)
