upc dvr intermitent sound problems

    Got my UPC MediaBox today. Does anybody know why the sound comes and goes sporadically when watching tv?Tried calling customer support to no avail.
    The sound can be fine for like 20 mins then it goes really tinny..i have to plug out the box for 5 mins to reset the damn thing then it seems to work for a bit..but the problem aint going away,any ideas would be great:eek:

    Sounds like a dodgy box. I've had mine since they were launched and it's never done that.

    Could be a dodgy box. However, could also just be a loose connection on the Scart cables, or even reception problems. Suggest checking the cabling and Scart and making sure it's all good and tight.
