Anyone know how easy these are to get the go ahead?

I am hoping to do a straight swap with someone in a different dept.

    We are both same grade.

    Thanks

You have to be out of probation, your sick leave has to be ok. If your length of service is different to the other persons then the one with the longer service looses theirs. Some departments also insist on an interview.

    Oh Ok.

I didn't think you had to be out of Probation.

I know for CAF you can be transferred while still in Probation (or so the CAF Dept told me today)

    My Sick Leave is fine.

I am only there about 6 months and would be moving county with the other person.

Maybe different departments have different rules. I know a friend of mine was told he couldnt move as he was still on probation but it was in an IT section so that may be why.

    Thanks again.

Who would be best to speak to...

The people at Public Jobs or my own HR...

It prob has nothing to do with Public Jobs now..

Your own hr. Maybe ask around to see who the most approachable person in hr is and ask them.
