If you live in/near Dublin and you are a fan of football in general or Man United in particular, there are a limited number of seats left on a trip to Old Trafford for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's retirement / testimonial on August 2nd.

The match sees the final farewell to Man United's baby-faced assasin, the player most rememberd for *that* goal in the 1999 European Cup final against Bayern Munich in Barcelona. The oponents for the game are Espanyol of (you guessed it) Spain.

There are a few non-United fans going so even if you're a Scouser, we won;t mind. It's a testimonial, after all :-)

Coach leaves Dublin (Liffey Valley - N4 / M50 junction) around 0645 on Saturday August 2nd, picking up in the City centre before boarding the Ferry at Dublin Port for the 0820 sailing to Holyhead. The coach is driving right onto the ferry so no problems with baggage / connections etc. The game is on at 3pm and after it is over there will be adequate time allowed for those visitors who want to look around the Museum / Shop etc. Departure from Manchester will be around 8.30pm, returning to Holyhead for the 0230 sailing to Dublin, arriving around 0630.

The whole trip costs €135, including Match Ticket and this must be paid as soon as possible as tickets may run short. Solskjaer's testimonial is expected to be a well-attended event. The trip is *NOT* intended to be a complete and utter piss-up as there are a lot of parents/kids going. However, there will be time and opportunity for a few [dozen] drinks on the boat on the return journey.

If you are interested, there are a limited number of seats available. In the first instance, email me (not a MySpace message) at ron[AT]irishunsigned.com, replaceing [AT] with @ of course.

    Ron

You posted that 7 minutes after the thread was created, do you think boards.ie supplies full-time career mods to police the site? For the record, I'm the only mod of this forum, I worked in the real world from 6am until after 12 today, came home and did some personal stuff in addition to checking the forum, then hit the hay for a couple of hours in advance of my real world night duty tonight (11pm-7am)

In future use report.gif button to report a post if you believe action needs to be taken.

    Thank you.
