Hi maybe i revisiting an old topic here but i searched and couldnt find it. Does anyone else remember one summer where the Gerry Ryan show went live to someones house, i think it was in the west, that had a ghost in it. I remember it went on for a couple of days and i was just wondering what the outcome of it was. It was years back.

Ya Google isn't bringing up any info. Why don't you e-mail the show and ask for the info/links to info. The address will be on the RTE website.

There were 2 'high profile' ghost stories in galway. One was in CastlePark that was pretty much debunked, but there was one on the west side of the city where a priest was brought in to say mass etc. This one had a lot more credibility and stories were backed up by people outside of the family. This is as much as I can recall.

Think it was in the house that had previously been owned by Gabriel Byrne's mother at one stage. My parents knew the family who owned it afterward. They had very creepy tales

Was it definitely Gerry Ryan? A reporter from newstalk went to a supposedly haunted house not long ago, think it was somewhere in clondalkin or maybe tallaght.

    edit:thread here

Sorry for the delay,it was definitely Gerry Ryan, this is going back years, i think it was the ghost of a little boy, could be wrong about the location. just remembered waiting for the show to come on every day to see what was going on. Whoever was in the house was able to say this like, "ya hes sitting here on the bed beside me now" or "yes, as im talking to you on the phone hes watching me at the top of the stairs". For the life of me cannot remember what the outcome was. Im actually quite surprised noone on here has spoken pf it before, although i suppose it is quite old

Was it not the poltergeist in the house in Oranmore in Galway they did on the G Ryan show? It was also adapted as a story for one of the programmes of the 'A Haunting' series which is shown on the Discovery Science channel.

If its that one then its the Fahy Case where they brought in Sandra Ramhadani (spelling?) a psychic who is also a Boardsie.

I remember this, I was young at the time and it terrified me. Wasn't there noises on the phoneline too when the person in the house was talking to Gerry?

The only way to resolve this is to mail the show. Any takers??? Want me to do it???
