iPhone 3G : Major Battery Problem

I realise that the iPhone 3G will have less battery life than the 2G. I've fully charged it about 4/5 times since I got it Friday morning but I thought this was because I've been playing with it alot.
Tonight it finished charging at 9pm, I turned off 3G and just left it sitting. Checked it just now and it down to 10% again.
I've read that 'PUSH' kills the battery so I'm gonna turn that off and turn back on 3G (cause I use 3G), then charge and see what happens.
If it dies quickly again it's either a faulty battery or the battery indicator it screwed.

    Anybody else having battery problems?

I've had to almost charge it daily since I got it. But I have been using wi-fi & iPod videos a lot and also have had push on.

This may be the source of the poor battery performance. They believe that the battery's capacity has been changed to 1150 mAh, down from 1400 mAh in the original.

If you must use push, try reducing the frequency down to once every hour. Should help but sounds like a faulty battery to me.

I done a restore from itunes tp upgrade the software version to 2.0(5A347)...it shipped with 2.0(5A345).
I read a lot of reports saying that fixes some bugs.

I've had it sitting overnight with 3G on and it still has full battery so looks like it was some bug with the software.
