    2 and 3 don't work for me.

    Just curious - why?

Ok, 2 shows the back of their heads, rather than the front, but to me, it shows the action and the contact of both heads with the ball.

3 shows the emotion at the end of the game, with Pat Fenlon having to be kept back from the match officials by staff.

By your own high standards these are being c&c'd :)

#1 Not enough action and with the empty terracing you could easily be only watching a training session per say "sprint with the ball"
#2 Is actually very original with the ball exactly between them too and you could easily picture this being used in some jokey advertisement campaign.
#3 Baz is correct, while it is Fenlon having a strop at the officials it's blocked out by the steward and he could be shouting at anybody, you don't even get to see the officials etc and their number 18 completely takes away from it too, you needed another angle for the shot you wanted.

Clairty and sharpness is fantastic as per usual on #1 and #3.

    .

For 3 , the steward (or sub) Yellow , is what distracts me , it takes away from the main thing , which is the managers emotive face , and i think those kind of shots work best , where you see the reaction on someone elses face
i.e. the one getting a bollicking

For 2 - it would be a nice photo on the other side , where you could see the players faces.

    Hard to get perfect :p

No1. Is technically great, but not overly interesting, just your standard player shot really.(Thats not criticism, at the end of the day its probably the "money" shot)

No2. is great, i really like it. Original and fun.

No3 doesnt really work for me either TBH Paul, Fenlon is arguing with someone who we cant see due to the yellow steward, and thats a shame.

As per usual Paul your shots are sharp and crisp.

#1 Although it lacks athmosphere this is a lovley shot of Kelly.

#2 Is a great shot. Perfectly timed and excellently framed.

#3 Fenlon might be unhappy but the geezer in the high vis kills the moment you were trying to capture.

At this game, only one stand was in use. The other 3 sides were empty. That can be the case quite often at these games where not all stands are needed.

Not much I could do about it.

Herald AM this morning had a slightly different angle on this shot posted -

In general, image #1 is an easy enough money shot that can be used for stock.

Yeah I know that Paul, I am a Boh's fan!
What I'm saying was maybe that wasn't the shot to take, bare terracing and only 1 player in the shot?
Herald shot does work better because the balls just crossed the line and straight away Hunt is claiming "goal!"
You can also see the crowd! Only missing the Burdocks chip van though, for shame. :p
