LCD/plasma advice

I'm in a rush to get an LCD or plasma tv this week. As a result I don't have a huge amount on time to research them online. Have been looking at the Philips 32pfl5322. 600in harvey normans or 400 from richer sounds but without delivery. Just wanted to ask what the picture quality will be like. I have an aerial on the roof that picks up RTE 1 and 2 so will this lead to a very pixely reception? I've see the image produced on this instore from a good source and it was pretty clear but it's mainly going to be used for regular TV viewing. I was also looking in HN at hdmi and scart cables which are really expensive, any advice on where I can pick them up instore for a better price, maplins perhaps? As for wall brackets, is there really much difference with these?
