    Hi,
I was just wondering if some of your clothes have a "fusty" smell what would be the best washing powder to use? For starters a biological one or non - biological one?
    Any tips appreciated!

Does it mean a damp smell ?? Then they need to be aired... however my interpretation of "fusty" is open to correction?

I use Bold 2 in 1 liquitabs in Apple Blossom. Gives clothes a lovely smell.

Don't let clothes sit when damp for too long. Try to get them out of the machine and into the tumble dryer or out onto the line as soon as the machine stops if possible. Sitting around for any period of time will give them a slightly damp smell.

I switched to the bottles of liquid detergent for a while and my washing machine started to smell mouldy. I googled it and it seems the liquid detergents don't have some of the bleaching chemicals that powders do. Also, to keep your machine fresh you should run it on a boil wash with detergent but no clothes inside every few weeks.

Good idea dizzy. I use the surf small and mighty tropicaltabs biological and comfort fabric softener (the powders affect my psorarsis). They work really well. For my darks I have persil small and mighty for darls.
