    i was there today at high tide,about 15 - 20 others fishing
we were at the kinsale end and no fish
there was a large fish, dunno what it was that jumped out of the water at the other end of the bridge.it jumped parallel to the water

i thought it was a mackerel but looked way too big 5-6 lbs
would it be a sea trout or salmon?
it looked a dark colour from where i was

when is the best time to fish the bridge for mackerel?
it was overcast,a bit rainy and very windy today when i was there

Could have been either one its hard to tell until they are really close.
Kinsale Bridge is really good but heres how to fish it properly, the best times are 2 hours before high until the first 2 hours of the dropping tide, fish the upper part of the bridge i.e the one furthest away from the town, weather conditions dont seem to affect the mackerel running threw there.
    Tight Lines.:D
