Terrible fight, I wouldn’t even go into detail about it.

The guy he was fighting was crap, but yes he should have won. It was a typical home town decision and Corbett won by a point.

Maybe I’m being too harsh on the quality of the fight and maybe Corbett did enough to win but why oh why bother to fight on when he is something like 36 and can only just about manage a win against what can only be called a pitiful fighter. Corbett looked a bit meaty also.

I heard from a mate he’s a really nice guy and this isn’t in any way a personal attack but I see little point for him to continue boxing at that level in his maturing age.

Yes I was there on Saturday night and I actually thought Corbett shaded it by 1 round (really scraped it) , if it had gone on another 2 rounds though the result would have gone the other way. Also I didnt hear what Corbett weighed in at but he looked a 5-6 kilos heavier at least. The majority of the European lads looked naturally smaller. The programme had Oisin Fagan down aged 36 that isnt right is it? A fight between him and murray would be interesting aswell. I couldnt believe how marked up some of the fighter were after the fights both winners and losers.

    I thought he was 34.

His left eye was pretty big when I was speaking to him late saturday night and he looked to have two or three butterfly stitches. It should easily heel for is rematch with Kimbrough in a couple of months. Thats in West Virginia and from what I read there is more chance of him coming away with a decision from their then Peter Buckley is of getting a decision against Sven Ottke in Hamburg. I know that I have said it already but Murray looks so much bigger than Fagan - I cant believe they fight at the same weight tbh.

I didnt really understand why Fagan was letting himself get hit with some many uppercuts and shots, I also thought he lost the first round. I was very impressed with Murray and fair dues to Mcdonagh for lasting til the end as I thought it was very one sided. Did enjoy the night but also felt sorry for Tims as he was in with a spoiler from the start, he never got a chance to really get going but got the job done. There wasnt really any home town decisions on the night either.

I would have called it a draw. Just seemed harsh yer man doing so well and still losing.

    Fagan is 34
