I'm thinking of getting a new game.

    It's come down to either

    Top Spin 3

    or

    Battlefield : Bad Company.

Really not too sure about which one. I'm worried Battlefield wont good enough. I know i shouldn't compare it to COD 4 but that's what a want these days with FPS and especially with multiplayer ones.

And I've always been a fan of Virtual Tennis so tempted on Top Spin.

    Any suggestions??

Well I Own both Bad Company and Top Spin 3
It's really down to what type of Gamer you are...If you have a few people that you can play Topspin with and have plenty of time to invest then I'd say go Topspin but if you just want a quick blast then Bad Company...If you can afford both then do they are both brilliant. The single player of Bad Company isn't as bad as people make out either.

I've got Top Spin 3 myself. It's a very good game but you do really need to invest a lot of time in to it, progressing your players skills. It's not a pick up and play type game like Virtua Tennis is. There's a lot more to taking shots then simply pushing a button. You have to time your swing a lot more. But when you get the hang of it, it does become very rewarding.

I picked up Race Driver: GRID over the weekend. It's great fun and looks great. I'd recommend that too if you're into racers.

Well it depends on what games you already have. Just because a game is new it doesnt mean its better than the ones that have been out for a while and you may have missed.

well i download to two of them. There ok. Graphics were good in Battlefield put i didnt like the movement at all.
I enjoyed Top Spin. In the end i just got Virtu Tennis 3 from Canada for €17.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

i can't get enough of bad company. superb game... but only for multiplayer.

i checked out the top spin demo and hated it. it looks awful, plays bad and just generally doesn't feel finished. get virtua tennis for a better experience

Do you mean the multiplayer is bad??? Damn that was the justification for buying it tommorow.

I have virtua tennis 3 would you still recommend top spin 3?

no no, the MP is genius. just don't bother with the SP... it's shallow and a bit rubbishy.

I had Virtua Tennis and after I bought Top Spin I traded Virtua tennis.
I loved Virtua tennis as a multiplayer game but the single player was woeful.
In fact I don't think I ever lost a game to a computer opponent EVER !!
As for top spin 3 it's a much better Tennis simulation and the AI of the computer players is really tough at higher difficulty levels.
