Just watched Romero Diary of the Dead and it seems a Winnebago (sp?) is the place to be. Would have thought after watching the other two (dawn of the.. and day of the.. )that I would have definatly gone for the shopping centre option. but it seems that these super holiday camper buses are unstoppable, no chainsaw, barbed wire or show ploughs needed. Still think i'd go for the shopping centre tho, everything you need at your disposal and loads of security camera's.

So would you chance it in a winniebago or what would be your vechicle of choice?

I'd actually go with a Jag or some of the other luxury models, possibly a corporate muscle car. Those babies are designed to get you where you are going fast and protect the tasteful and wealthy occupant no matter what. I wouldn't plan to live in a vehicle in any case. Option B would be the mobile traffic plough, or large freight vehicle.

In fairness, the Diary of the Dead is set when the outbreak first starts so the entire country/world would not be infected so you wouldn't have a zombie at every corner. In Dawn of the Dead the infection is a good bit in and a huge national security and in Day of the Dead the infection is worldwide so i don't think a camper van would do much good at either of those times :D

However, probably a hummer (after being in the passenger seat in one) would be my choice :)

I think a digicam could help Boost Moral When folks start to get depressed.
Only down side bing looking back at picks of the recently departed would make the situation even worse.
