IPhone Tariffs

So i was taking a look the IPhone and i would love to get my hands on one so i rang up O2 and asked them what Iphone plan would be equivalent to my existing usage.

Currently i pay 25 euro per month for unlimited o2 and landlines (about 900 mins per month usage)
7.50 for 100 texts
7.50 for 250mb add on
Add on a little more usage pic messages etc... and on average
i pay 40 to 50 euro..


SO

the nice people in O2 tell me i would need to be on the 100 euro iPhone tariff and
with the amount of minutes i use my new bill would come in at .. 145 to 160 per month..

I just cant justify an extra 100 euro per month for a cool phone.. my buddie in
spain just sticks on a 25 euro per month unlimited data add on to his existing plan... I just feel a little ripped off..

you live in rip off ireland, nothing new to see here

O2 can charge what they like, just wait a month or two and pick it up sim free of ebay when the insanity of 4000 dollar iphones end

it will be 500 dollars-ish within a month so about 400 euro, alot cheaper than paying 150 per month

Its expensive to have the latest gadets. At least you won't have bills for pic messages. The iPhone can't do them. The iPhone is a luxury item not something you need to have.
