Ashlee Simspon's red hair

Hey! I have naturally dark brown hair that I have been getting highlighted blonde for about 3 years. I'm pretty bored with the blonde now and the roots are driving me mad, as well as the colour going brassy...:mad:

I have green eyes and fair skin and was thinking of going the same shade of Ashlee Simpson.

What do you guys think of her colour? Also, would it be ok to dye over the blonde?

I absolutely love her hair colour and would love to go that colour too but it will take a lot of maintance and you'll need to go to a hairdresser to do it right. I'm not 100% sure but they may need to strip the colour from your hair and then dye your hair. Also, red is the fastest of the colours to fade so it will need redoing every few weeks. If I had the money for it I'd do it. It will look great with your complexion and green eyes! Will really bring them out.

I don't know about the red hair. It looks O.K. I guess. I think she looks a lot prettier as a blond.

Thanks so much for the reply My hair soaks up and holds onto colour. Even temporary dyes stay in my hair for ages. Yes, she's prettier blonde but I think she looks more grown up and unique with the red. I go to a really good salon so hopefully they can sort me out.

I did that last year.. my hair was blonde.. a lil whiter.. but I was really sick of it.. Popped into the hairdresser.. came out red. It was much redder then that pic though.. Ive a pic attached.. came out ALOT brighter then expected.. but since you're blonde, it will come out pretty bright/light too!

The eye make up makes it here too.. Have to stop looking at pics in work :P

What ya call her done something similar recently. What do you call that blonde wee one that was in every kids who possible about 5 or 6 years ago. Was defo the turning point in seeing her go from being a teenie bopper princess to some sort of minx

The red looks good and it wont be as high maintenance. My friend went from bright blonde to this coulor with a hairdresser a while back and it looked v well.
have to say though i though ashlee was hotter as a blonde. I read a magazine that said shes gone red as shes pregnant and didnt want to keep dying it blonde?

I agree that she looks prettier blonde, but it's kinda boring, red is gorgeous.

with red she looks like a woman and damm fine at that..

women with red hair genrally are i dunno i like red haired women but i grew up with to girls with red hair so i dunno but yeah red hair ,mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Her hair colour is naturally blonde and she dyed it black initially to be different from Jessica.

i LOVE her hair!!

go for it. you'll probably think you look real pale though and end up wearing more/darker make-up.

im fair skinned and i had it done before. it was nice but i didnt keep it too long. i'd get it done again actually if i wasn't planning a whole other color....
