Getting credit card from Ireland to India?!

Going on a rtw trip on Monday, starting in Delhi. I stupidly left it quite late to apply for a credit card but I was assured it would arrive in 10days (which would have been yesterday). Typically of my bank, it's still not here. There's a chance it will arrive on Monday (my flight's not until the evening) but am trying to figure out a back up plan.

I was thinking about trying to get it couriered over or something but not sure if that's possible without a fixed address? Any ideas/advice would be great!

    Thanks

Some credit cards send you a replacement card if you lose yours while on holiday.

Other alternative get someone to send it DHL Express or something for you to somewhere you know you're gonna be for a couple of days.

If you have a maestro card, then it will work in Indian ATM's.
