How do you change Auditors in Ireland, what is the process? Do we have to ask our current Auditor to resign or do we tell them we want to change and we resign from using them?

The company AGM can vote to reappoint the existing auditors and appoint a different firm in their stead. Or you can ask the Auditors to resign.

If you have outstanding issues with them or are in the middle of an audit you may run into problems as they are obliged to pass on certain information to the new auditors.
