Anyone know why Paddy Power share price is tanking this week ?

    Had seemed to hold up well in comparison to other stocks for the last while. Gradually been drifting downwards and after posting a slight recovery its now down 7% on the day :(

    Noticed the company has an irrevocable instruction with their broker to purchase shares while in closed period.

    Just appointed high profile lawyer to board in last few days.

    I have 2k of paddy power shares, bought at about 25eur and then all the shares dropped about a week later ... just my fuppin luck.

    anyway, sorry if I'm being a spaj, but what exactly does that mean? That they are buying their own shares up?

    There is talk of the government taxing winnings I think. That or I finally won a bet.
