looking for raising boom pole

    looking for raising boom pole or erecting boom pole that be pluged into cig lighter in which i can attach a antenna for mobile testing,anyone know where i can get

    I'd prefer if you have a problem with a post that you use the report post button rather than dragging the thread further off topic.

    To answer humaxf1s question they'd be stuff like what's available here: http://www.ktekbooms.com/ (think microphone booms that you'd see in tv studios e.g. like the ones they swing over audience members when they're talking.)

    OP that site I linked to might have what you require too. I just did a quick google I didn't find any Irish suppliers that I could see.

    just checked myself and they dont have irish suppliers,trying to get something that can go 15 to 20 feet in height,saw nothing on ebay which has almost everything

    What kind of a budget have you got? Im in install wireless networks and I have a company that do masts from a vehicle designed for radio, military, tv networks etc. You can have it permantly in the car or as a tripod you set up.

    But, these are not cheap or an ebay Item,. What was your intended spend?

    work in wireless bb and to be used for testing remotely to check signals ,so has to be small and fast to setup,cheap too

    First two are fine but I cant help you with xheap. These things are very specialised and have a reach of up to 20m so as you can imagine they have to be good wuality. We probably use similar equipment to you and this is what we will use. They cost a coupe of thousand euro. So sorry bout that I cant help you if your looking for a 300 option!!
