Technology that makes you lazy?

The spellcheck on Firefox is making me hardly look at the keyboard anymore. I could be typing in semi Hindu/semi English safe in the knowledge that I can correct it in seconds.

So what technology is turning you into a lazy fooker? Predictive Text on mobiles is something I could never get into but I Heart Firefox Spellcheck ;)

Predictive text is handy... makes it harder to use txt spk which is a good thing... My dad bought a ride-on-lawnmover, so mowing the lawn is now a lazy enjoyable(ish) activity...

+1 for the interwebz. Google has made me a lazy f*cker. "Hmm what was that thing with that yoke that I know, but cannot remember?" Da-da-daadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Google. Instead of making my synapses fire, a five minute search on Google usually gets me sorted. Gosh darn my long-term memory.

Indoor plumbing. I used to have walk miles to the well as a nipper. And this idea of an indoor lavatory; well pardon me! I enjoy the walk to the nettle filled ditch!

TV Remote. I'd rather not watch TV than get up and change channel.

    Internet. All shopping done on-line.

Drinks with bifidusbacterius fictionus essensis and active digestivuscleanyourbowelical enzymes. I know I don't have to exercise or have a healthy diet anymore. I'll just drink some of these yoghurt drinks when I'm getting near a heart attack.

Also I don't need to wear a coat in the rain, just carry around a spare actimel.

Having a defibbrilator around the house can be handy too.

Thankfully spell checkers have yet to take their toll on me, and I rarely use textspeak unless there's a point to it's useage (usually to slag someone), some web abbreviations but that'd be it.

I heart spellcheck on firefox, I didnt realsie how much I use it until I found myself constantly going to use it when not at my own pc.

What did we do before Google, Yahoo, AltaVista etc?

All the way into the library to look up something for a school or college project that you can now get in seconds and look at naked pictures of Megan Fox in another tab at the same time. Sometimes lazy is good :)

Wow, I wouldn't have liked to have been the human guinea pig for that when they were checking the optimum force of water needed to clean, but not cause injury:eek:

    My car.

Everytime i can't drive, i.e. car is being fixed, and I have tu use public transport, I feel like no one has it worse than me. Then I actually love it, having time to read rather then going mad in traffic, and I promise myself that I will use public transport more.

Then, the car is fixed, and I'm back to my old ways.
